Essam Aljifri is a Vice President at Basilinna, where he oversees strategy, business development, and communications across the Middle East and Africa with a special focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar. Most recently, he was a Vice President at Edelman Global Advisory, where he helped build the public and government affairs business in the Middle East. Previously, he led the crisis communications business in the KSA for Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm. There, he led award-winning integrated campaigns for high-profile projects such as NEOM – THE LINE and Boutique Group (both of which were announced by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman), as well as global events such as the Global AI Summit, the Future Minerals Forum, Winter at Tantora seasons for the Royal Commission of AlUla, and Arab Aviation Summit, and the launch of new products displayed in Burj Khalifa — all flagship activities in the region.
