Leigh Wedell is President and COO at Basilinna, where she brings almost 30 years of expertise in U.S.-China business relations. She also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Paulson Institute. Leigh advises firms and organizations on their growth, positioning, and development in Asia, Latin America, and the United States, with a focus on technology, health, finance, and the green transition. Previously, she served as COO and Managing Partner at Edelman Global Advisory, a business advisory firm under Edelman Public Relations that she helped launch and double in size in less than three years after her firm was acquired. Leigh oversaw global operations, advised clients on China strategy, and was responsible for the LATAM and APAC regions. Leigh has launched and managed four successful business advisory services firms and two not-for-profits. She has also served as Chief Sustainability Officer at the Paulson Institute, focusing on programs in urban sustainability.
