Yousra is Managing Director of Operations and the Middle East and Africa at Basilinna. She previously served as Director of Business Development and the Middle East and North Africa for Edelman Global Advisory (EGA). At EGA, she coordinated business development globally for the 300-person firm, supporting its overall growth and advised clients in the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to this, Yousra helped develop the MENA business including by opening an office in Cairo, Egypt for a Washington, DC-based consulting firm and supporting advisory work in the culture sector. Yousra has served in various roles at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Washington DC, including as office manager for the Deputy Chief of Mission, and the social and communications officer for the Ambassador. She speaks fluent English and Arabic.
