Mohamed Soliman is a Director at Basilinna. He has a thorough understanding of the MENA region, holding an LLM in international and comparative law as well as a BA in Political Science and Economics. With a background in research and project management, Mohamed’s work focused on conflict resolution, security, and peacebuilding in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon. As part of the Iraq team at HD Centre, he assisted in facilitating dialogue between the Prime Minister’s office, security forces, and tribal leaders in governorates. Additionally, Mohamed worked on projects supporting MSMEs and female empowerment in Upper Egypt. From carrying out research projects for various corporate clients with Studio INTO to development initiatives with the UNDP in Cairo, Mohamed has provided in-depth analysis and developed proposals for various projects across the private and public sector. In parallel to his work in the humanitarian field, Mohamed opened an artisanal bar and eatery in Beirut’s Mar Mikhael district.
